Cattle
We are very proud of our production cow herd. Our cows are Angus based and we run Balancer Bulls (Gelbvieh Angus Cross). We calve in May and June, wean around Thanksgiving and head to the sale barn with our calves right after the first of the year.
Most of our children all have at least one of their own cows and they love to see them have their babies each year. You can see pictures of Barry's boys branding their calves this year. Scott's girls are old enough to help so they are usually in the back pushing the calves.
Also, both Riley and Charley (Scott and Sarah's) have 4-H steers that they show at the county, state and national level.
